Design takes time, but too many people wait until their builder is breaking ground before planning their interior details. Here's why I recommend you don't do that and why it's so important to get ahead of your build.

Spring is the best time to break ground on your build, it’s when everything starts to move fast and you need to have your design details completely solid. As we approach the end of the year, it's easy to “Get Christmas out of the way” before starting a new project, but that could leave you running behind.
Timelines are often not explained to self builders clearly, causing delays, confusion and scheduling lags. Your builder needs final drawings and specs well in advance to give you a correct cost and accurate timeline.
